50 years ago Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin were the first men to walk on the moon. Astronaut Aldrin wore an Omega Speedmaster Professional on his arm. Thus it became world-famous and is called also today still moon clock. The Karl Gebhardt watch collection in Nuremberg presents a rare example from 1969. This exclusive exhibition of the NÜRNBERGER Insurance Foundation has over 700 objects from half a millennium. Karl Gebhardt, who also made a name for himself as an inventor and pioneer of the European watch industry, died at the beginning of 2014.
